Das 8. Indische Filmfestival ‚Bollywood and beyond‘ in Stuttgart bringt vom 20. bis 24. Juli 2011 die Magie des indischen Kinos ins SI-Centrum Stuttgart. Es ist das einzige Festival dieser Art und Größe außerhalb Indiens. In diesem Jahr ist das vom Filmbüro Baden-Württemberg e. V. veranstaltete Kulturevent Premiumpartner des Automobilsommers 2011. ‚Bollywood and beyond‘ gibt einen umfassenden Überblick über das aktuelle Filmschaffen in Indien. Internationale Gäste, Tanz, Musik und Kunst sowie Vorträge und Diskussionen zu Themen der indischen Gesellschaft, Kultur und Politik stehen auf dem Programm. www.bollywood-festival.de

From July 20th to 24th, the 8th Indian Film Festival ‚Bollywood and beyond‘ shows the magic of Indian cinema at the SI-Centrum Stuttgart. Outside India the festival is unique in its size and programme variety. In 2011 this cultural event hosted by the Filmbüro Baden-Württemberg e.V. is a premium partner of the Automobilsommer. ‚Bollywood and beyond‘ offers a comprehensive review of current filmmaking in India. The programme includes international guests, dance, music, and art as well as speeches and dicussions on current issues in Indian society culture and politics.
